Hey man, just upload it to BCT. This way probably more people would
find out about it. Also you may want to get an acount over at
GCast.com, no web server needed.

Yeah, I think that's the thing I need, a simulater. Usually I've been
getting away with just being an engineer on people's ship, however I
really wanna learn to weapon as I feel like I'm being a woos for doing
only one position each mission. I really wish that more mission types
were implemented that payed more than combat, for example. Doing
combat al the time is boring, though it's the most rewarding.

I use focus. Focus on one ship, then the next. There's no possible way to
do
it quicker; just type aim 3, 2, 10, or whatever the numbers might be. I'm
planning on doing it iether tomorrow or Friday. I'm wstil configuring my
website (which hrd drive it will be located on, etc).

What I really wanna know is for a possible way to lock onto ships that
are the clocest to you, and how to do it the quickest. I can't exactly
type, Lock 3, 2, 10 in a half of a second it takes the ship to lock
on and fire about a millisecond afterwards.

demonstration? I could do both if you prefer (in two parts)?
 Sorry if
 this

 I think I might.

I hope someone benifits from my podcast, anyway. I plan to do

I'll be using a pair of panasonic headphones, or headset, with an

 anyway, hope to hear feedback.

Combat rules? hmmm, sure. As for cash, I seriously recommend artifacting. I
enjoy it, so it could be just me. Archaeology used to be a big thing until
somebody decided they were going to script and so it dropped drastically, so
now its basically worthless. example: if you go artifacting for one day
constantly, you can get about 600 lightyears or more. You will earn about
200 million credits.
In terms of combat, there aren't any rules. You just need to realize that
sector 24 is where a lot of fighting is; that's where the mission jumpgate

planning on doing it iether tomorrow or Friday. I'm wstil configuring my

What I really wanna know is for a possible way to lock onto ships that
are the clocest to you, and how to do it the quickest. I can't exactly
type, Lock 3, 2, 10 in a half of a second it takes the ship to lock
on and fire about a millisecond afterwards.

Re: [Audyssey] podcast on miriani?

Blah, I'm trying to get an http web server set up. Its slow going, but I
think I found a half decent program that's doable (faststream). I'll be
doing a podcast soon, I hope, and you'll learn all I have to give,
hopefully. I'm going to try and get this http server up sometime this

Although I don't play much theese days it is a good idea to stay in your
 ship.
and ships go to the garage after the first shutdown of the ship.
Stranding a player is allowed, so staying in your ship is a good idea
unless you want want to be moved around.
The polocy at the time I played said you could be moved anywhere as long
as you were not out of coms range, or had a ship to go back to where
 ever.
Ofcause that doesn't garantee you can be left on some alien world
 outside
 known space though.
I played with one friend when I was new and aparently there can be some
 nasty characters on the game.
Like you the first time I just quit the game and then found myself in a
 different place.
People can also shoot you with stun guns in the game.
For a week or so when you are new you do get some protection, but a week
 is all you get.
Another warning is that if you hear on scanners that a fight is going on,
mostly at sector 24 don't go there unless you want to rumble.
Some people just practice and don't want people around them, someone
almost blew me out of space, and once I got in the middle of a fight, and
 had to retreat.
Do not shoot plannets or stations or space infrastructure unless you want
 a missle to get you.

well aden if you can count 2 laser turrets as weapons.
They are weapons but your armour is not much.
I have not really much combat exprience which is why I have never stayed
in the game for long at all.
To get a real strong ship you need cash.
And unless you curior or play taxi for ages and ages you can't get much
 cash.
I suppose hauling astoroids, but really you need to move outside local
space and I would probably get lost.
thethis is a good place to buy weapons if you can aford it all.

Although I don't play much theese days it is a good idea to stay in your
 ship.
and ships go to the garage after the first shutdown of the ship.
Stranding a player is allowed, so staying in your ship is a good idea
unless you want want to be moved around.
The polocy at the time I played said you could be moved anywhere as long
as you were not out of coms range, or had a ship to go back to where ever.
Ofcause that doesn't garantee you can be left on some alien world outside
 known space though.

 Hi, all

I'm curious to know, would doing a podcast on miriani be worth it? I
 mean,

who here hasn't played it and, furthermore, for those that do play it,
 do
you think a podcast would help those who don't get a better
 understanding
of how you play it? And also, help those who've never played a mud

 thanks

well aden if you can count 2 laser turrets as weapons.
They are weapons but your armour is not much.
I have not really much combat exprience which is why I have never stayed in the
game for long at all.
To get a real strong ship you need cash.
And unless you curior or play taxi for ages and ages you can't get much cash.
I suppose hauling astoroids, but really you need to move outside local space
and I would probably get lost.
thethis is a good place to buy weapons if you can aford it all.

Hi.

When you first get in there, it's a good idea to read help getting-started,
follow the directions in that, then read help activities. If you don't want
to read the help files on the game, you can read them on the web at:
http://toastsoft.net:/help

As for how you ended up in a ship, it's generally a bad idea to log off or
go AFK on landing pads or out in the open. People who arent' so nice can
strand you in places where you'll have no escape without the assistance of
another player. Someone saw your character ssleeping and put you in a ship
to keep you safe from harm.

If you need help with something there, I'll be happy to help. my character's
name is Rothque Torraske.

Re: [Audyssey] podcast on miriani?

2008-04-05 Thread constantine (on laptop)
Hi, Aiden.

Who are you on there?

The first thing to keep in mind is never, ever, ever sleep on landing pads.
You probably got held and put in a ship by another player. I'll make that
podcast as soon as I can. By The way, I'm not sure where I'll put it.

thanks

Have a good day from Tyler C. Wood!

 Hi, all

I'm curious to know, would doing a podcast on miriani be worth it? I
 mean,
who here hasn't played it and, furthermore, for those that do play it, do
you think a podcast would help those who don't get a better understanding

I'd be happy to help, too. I go by the name of buck (the only buck on there,
so...I'm not hard to miss). Just type who buck, and get a hold of me via
metaf. 14.2, though we'll have to work that out over general channel. I'll
explain all of these in my podcast, I'm in the process of getting apache set
up and all, and making the podcast itself.

 Hi.

When you first get in there, it's a good idea to read help
 getting-started,
follow the directions in that, then read help activities. If you don't
 want
to read the help files on the game, you can read them on the web at:
 http://toastsoft.net:/help

As for how you ended up in a ship, it's generally a bad idea to log off or
go AFK on landing pads or out in the open. People who arent' so nice can
strand you in places where you'll have no escape without the assistance of
another player. Someone saw your character ssleeping and put you in a ship
to keep you safe from harm.

If you need help with something there, I'll be happy to help. my
 character's
 name is Rothque Torraske.

here hasn't played it and, furthermore, for those that do play it, do you think
a podcast would help those who don't get a better understanding of how you play
it? And also, help those who've never played a mud before get the basics of
one?

thanks

Have a good day from Tyler C. Wood!
