Hi Yohandy, Well, .NET 3.0 is suppose to be backward compatible, but some applications, like Rail Racer, won't work without 1.1 being installed. I'm not sure exactly what is causing the app not to run with later frameworks, but it really is a bit of a hastle. As for .NET Framework 1.1 it will run on 98, ME, 2000, XP, and Vista. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I did that, now the game tells me it isn't registered. make sure you have .net framework 1.1 installed, vista doesn't come with it out of the box. If you have administrator rights, it should work if the right version of the framework and direct x are on there, let me know if this helps. Hi Yohandy, Yeah, I use RR under Vista. The problem is that Rail Racer, specifically Che's licensing tool XHEO, doesn't like .NET 3.0.
