Dark I use the forums regularly.
I have not noticed anything going on, but I never touch the adds.
Sadly a lot of sites need adds to stay active.
Removing adds would be good but  most forums have adds to stay active 
and such most sites have some sort of  adds.

I have not seen any virus here.

Avg alerted me to a link exploit on audiogames.net that was attempting to 
redirect internet expllorer to a fake upgrade site. these sorts of things don't 
come up very often, so I do take notice of them.
