You are going to need more than four footmen to win, and peasants have a very limited military value. Check out the parts of the manual that describe the different units and what you need to build them. Archers are quite useful, and knights are even more potent and harder to kill. For archers, you need a saw mill, and for knights, you need to have upgraded your town hall to a keep and then built a stable. This is how I do it. Firstly I Send my army units to b2, as this is the only way into your territory. Then I recruit 2 peasants and exploit the goldmine until I have 7 gold. Then I build a barrack. After that it should be easy.
