Okay I've got the hail blade. I've both weaponry, and slashing at about level 61 or so, if I get another weaponry subskill like stabbing, can or does that help my mr score at all? I've bashing at 26, and don't think it improved my mr score. It only affects your MR when you're usig a weapon associated with that subskill, so unless you're using a sword, Slashing's not going to do you any good. And you can't unlearn a skill once you acquire it. I don't know any other reasons why you'd be having trouble because it always worked for me. Increasing Weaponry itself is the only way to do that. The only time subskills affect your MR is when you're wielding their associated weapons I.E. swords for slashing, daggers for stabbing etc. Othewise you'll jst have to get your general weaponry skill as high as you can. No argument from me. I managed to get both my Weaponry and Slashing skills up to 70, but let me tell you, i took a heck of a lot of EXP, and some of it came from donating to Sryth. That and the various items I have equipped brought my MR up to a hundred. Mm, after you've done almost all the quests in the game it doesn't seem so hard, using just quest experience and experience from random bonuses and such, I have a pretty decent power and skill list, at the top of which are weaponry at 75 and weaponry slashing at 73 I believe.
