Re: [Audyssey] Thoughts on Sarah

2007-04-02 Thread Neo
Hi,
I don'T understand what on Earth could possibly force you to have to use any
name against another.
If your dad placed the order for ya, you still could use your name as the
registration one. I did the same with my friend who let me use his credit
card to purchase the game - of course I had to fill in his name as the
credit card owner, otherwise the order wouldn't get processed successfully,
I suppose, but I used my name as the registration one. The factor that is
responsible for how the unlock code looks like is the four digit user code
for the most part, I believe. The name just specifies the rest of the code
but, anyway. So you could use Roonil Wazlib as the registration name, who
cares? LOL
Perhaps you will be able to make an arrangement with Phil to send you a new
unlock code for your registration name, otherwise you'll just have to put up
with your dad's name in the titlebar. :-)
Take care,
Lukas

 Hi Phil.

I am very sorry to cryticise the game. As I said, I'm truly well
 impressed
with the hole thing and can't wait to explore the rest of the castle and
solve the various puzles, and my thoughts on Bins are of course my
opinion. to explain slightly, the intonation of the voice being both
monotonus and synth derived, game me the impression of a more robot like
effect which was only enhanced by the rather rusty tone. Of course, this
 is
my impression, and may not be other people's.

several of my lecturers would actually fit the Bins role extremely well,
 we
even have a professor who's knickname in the university is Morphene
 cooper,
very much for the same reason as Prof Bins.

Unfortunately, the older and more binslike the professor, the less likely
 it
is that I could actually convince them to reccord some lines.

If you like however, if you send me the lines for Bins I could have a
 bash
at recording them myself, or getting one of my acting oriented friends to
 do
 so.

In the production I took part in two weeks ago I played an eldily vicar,
 and
thus had to age up my voice fairly significantly. Sinse I've been taught
 by
a variety of similar professors all the way through my degree and Ma I
 can
hopefully make a realistic intonation and add the appropriate amount of
 droning and wheesing.

Also, There shouldn't be any accent problems sinse I'm english myself.

Of course, I certainly don't think the Bins voice is a major problem in
 the
game at all, I was merely trying to accurately explain all my impressions
 of
the game, the many positive ones, as well as the one or two negatives,
 and
 I
certainly think the game is Fantastic as it is, you've obviously put a
 lot
of hard work into creating the game, and it's well and truly paid off.

 Sorry again for the complaint.

 all the best,

 dark.

Well, I've spent a lot of time between my classes playing Sarah

involving my reg key and user code, but so far I've managed to find
four of the ten items in the first chapter. I can usually find the
broom and the mirror fairly easily, and yesterday I found the
Rememberall (although I haven't found it again since), and a little
while ago I found an Extendable Ear. So far I haven't regretted
putting forth the money for the game, and that rarely happens on the
basis of one sneak preview, so that should tell you what a fine job I
think Phil's done on the game. And let's not forget Sarah Alawami's
acting. Man I love hearing her say those incantations! Let's hope
Sarah never decides to become a Death Eater. Crucio! But anyway,
hopefully Phil or someone will be able to help me get the problem
with my reg code squared away. Sent him an Email this morning, 'cuz I
wanna explore the rest of the castle!

I agree brian, I've come across the extendible ear on occasions, and even
worked out how to get my hands on the marauders map (though I'm not telling

I love all the Hp references, in fact I'm fairly certain the major game
companies Hp games probably aren't half as complete as Sarah, - even
Knick is singing his song, the one that was cut from the book, -
and in the head master's office preview, - well I've already said.

As well as Sarah's exceptional voice acting, - I love her very confident
rendition of the three D's, she's obviously very experienced in apperition.

I also do rather like Josh's filch, it's actually going to be very strange
going back to Merlin's lab in Pinball extreme to here him as the mighty
wizard merlin, when i've got used to him as the grumpy squib filch.

His English accent does sound a litle strange to me, but then again I
suppose sinse I'm English and Josh is obviously from the states, it's going
to, - and anyway, I certainly get a deffiante a sinking feeling whenever
I here:

Well, well well! miss intruder

Which is the important thing.

I think my only miner complaint about the game is that while some of the
synth voices for characters sound great, some of them I'm not quite as
convinced of.

Dobby sounds great, really fluttery and slightly mad, as does the fat Friar
(though I've only heard him on the menue), and the basilisk.

Nearly headless knick and professor bins I'm slightly less sure of (Bins'
voice actually reminds me of the original cybermen from Dr. who).

Sorry if this is over crytical.

Other than that though, I absolutely love the game and can't wait to get my
unlock code (I imagine Draconis are very busy processing Sarah orders right
now).

A first class job Phil.

 He is described as,
drones like an old vacuum cleaner

If you can find an old English professor that sounds like this and is

 Hi Phil.

I am very sorry to cryticise the game. As I said, I'm truly well impressed
with the hole thing and can't wait to explore the rest of the castle and
solve the various puzles, and my thoughts on Bins are of course my
opinion. to explain slightly, the intonation of the voice being both
monotonus and synth derived, game me the impression of a more robot like
effect which was only enhanced by the rather rusty tone.

If you like however, if you send me the lines for Bins I could have a bash
at recording them myself, or getting one of my acting oriented friends to
 do
 so.

In the production I took part in two weeks ago I played an eldily vicar,
 and
thus had to age up my voice fairly significantly. Sinse I've been taught
 by
a variety of similar professors all the way through my degree and Ma I can
hopefully make a realistic intonation and add the appropriate amount of
 droning and wheesing.

Also, There shouldn't be any accent problems sinse I'm english myself.

Of course, I certainly don't think the Bins voice is a major problem in
 the
game at all, I was merely trying to accurately explain all my impressions
 of
the game, the many positive ones, as well as the one or two negatives, and
 I
certainly think the game is Fantastic as it is, you've obviously put a lot
of hard work into creating the game, and it's well and truly paid off.

 Sorry again for the complaint.

 all the best,

 dark.
