Re: [Audyssey] flight sim progress
Hay I also wanted to tell you that you can probably download NVDA and it says that you can use it for any reason and you can also get the source code. However if you make the software work with the flighnt simulation game, then you have to send that update to the NVDA list and web site Sincerely, Jason - Original Message - From: Orin [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Friday, October 12, 2007 3:10 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] flight sim progress I'm pretty certain it won't work with NVDA. Re: [Audyssey] flight sim progress
Although guys, just so you know, the demo of window eyes is quite useful here - jaws has a problem with the video intersept, so I might load up the window-eyes demo, quit it and load jaws up and see what that does. I'm not all that great with Window-Eyes and I'd personally would like to use jaws, plus wineyes timing out after 40 minutes, and if you're flight's longer than that your screwed. So what I'm saying here is that wineyes users have a better time than us. Do you like mudding? Want to join a group of like-minded people for discussion via EMail? Re: [Audyssey] flight sim progress
Hi, everyone suggestion for the game, has anyone used NVDA for flight simulator? I don't have the flight simulator game, because I heard in some reviews it is accessible in version 2002 and then there were reviews that said it wasn't accessible. So I am waiting on a more clear detailed review before I purchase the game.I wonder if we use the speech engine NVDA will the game work with the software if someone tried it? your friend, Jason - Original Message - From: Scott Shade [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Friday, October 12, 2007 3:36 AM Subject: [Audyssey] flight sim progress For those that have been wondering I've been busy on several fronts here trying to do a course from hadley and also in trying to figure out how to improve my flying with the fs2002 program. I can now report that with the rather indirect help of the president of a virtual airline, that the flight tracking ssoftware fs-acars is um 75 percent accessible for us to use as far as the information layout is concerned. I'm required to take a check ride in the boeing 737-400 and show that I can handle the aircraft in structured flight betwene St Louis Lambert international airport and Chicago O'Hare airport. While I'm not fully ready to do the check ride quite yet, I think that after I do a few more practice runs, this time accounting for real weather conditions, I'll probably atempt to do it sometime this weekend. There are those who have been asking about the air traffic control menu in fs2002. I really can't talk you through the procedure with a 100 percent accuracy rating as the menu changes depending on the situation your dealing with. The best answer I can give you is and I know this sounds like a cop out, butt, trial and error with the given situation. If its any consolation, it would appear that the air traffic control system isn't widely used by Maricio and the others, I've voluntered to send a sound bite of me working the air traffic control system in fs2002 for them. Also, I'll probably do several things at once. My check ride might vary well be the podcast flight I use to demonstrate flight sim. Though I'm not sure if I'm that brave yet. Take care all. I'm off to get some sleep. Can someone explain to me what this game is? Is it a normal game and a screen reader can work with it? -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Orin Sent: 12 October 2007 10:49 To: Gamers Discussion list Subject: Re: [Audyssey] flight sim progress Although guys, just so you know, the demo of window eyes is quite useful here - jaws has a problem with the video intersept, so I might load up the window-eyes demo, quit it and load jaws up and see what that does. I'm pretty certain it won't work with NVDA.
