When you do, it plays a sound file. As soon as that sound file is done playing, press the space bar again, and again, and again etc. You get points every time that you press the space bar. Except if you press it while the sound file is playing. Then make sure to get items after you are with each woman. On the second floor the best is go north, go west, go east. But you can go back and forth a bit if you wish.
