Re: [Audyssey] swamp key config question

2012-02-02 Thread Paul Lemm
Much appreciated I have managed to change the shift to alt which has made a
few commands a little quicker for me and also assigned the mouse wheel to.
Thanks again and now I understand the key config file I really like how easy
it is to change the keys if you want.

The key config file doesn't support the pressing of 2 standard keys
together. You can only use shift, alt, or control.

 Hi,

Many thanks, yep I just wanted to use the wheel as a
 button.

Could I change shift to something else though, so for
 example if I wanted
coordinates to be space and v?, instead of shift and v?

Re: [Audyssey] swamp key config question

2012-02-01 Thread Jeremy Kaldobsky
Paul, clicking the mouse wheel is MOUSE3 in the keyconfig file. I don't
currently have support for scrolling the wheel up or down because it was giving
me problems. As long as you're just using it as a 3rd button it should work
just fine.

In the file, a plus sign following the letter signifies that shift must be held
down. That is how you can assign shift + up to do something else if you want.

 Hi,

I've noticed from some other posts its possible to change
 the keyboard
controls in swamp using the key config file.  I have 2
 questions, firstly
the shift key is used to give certain keys a second function
 (for example
shift +up gives the long range radar) is there an option to
 change the shift
key to something else? I can't seem to find it.
 Secondly can I assign the
mouse wheel as a key? And if so what would I enter it as on
 the config file?
