You must not have been in a good position when you tried the summoning charm, because it does in fact work. I'd stand right in front of the closed door or as close to it as you can get, and try the charm from there. It does work. I've done it. It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go. The bug that I encountered is: when filch captures me before the time runs out I press escape all right? Then I hear the PCS logo, I press control till I'm in the menu again. When I then select start game and select easy and yes for training mode I wait until I hear Sarah says entrance hall. I know what Phil said: you shouldn't press any keys until Sarah says: entrance hall. But then when I press w Sarah says office and there's no way I can get out of there. Regardless of which movement keystroke I Press, Sarah collides with a wall and if I press shift+d there's nothing that can be detected. I'M supposed to be on the front door mat but I'm in an office at the start of the game and there's no exit. So my only way out is to aparate and then I can go out of the broom cupboard and I can continue game play. Has any one encountered this? Hi, First, I got the same thing a few times when restarting the game (so I don't know for sure if that was due to some catches). And then, can you explain why you would go to the broom cupboard and then go all the way back as you can easily open the door when you're already in broom-mode? Let me rephrase what I said about the broom cupboard. I said that when I open the caretaker office door I immediately press a then I'm aparated to the broom cupboard and I can go back to filch' office on my broom and I can get the map without him catching me. Later on after I have sent this post, I noticed that it doesn't always works. Sometimes filch captures me after I have aparated and this is not due to the time running out. Hi Lukas, I did put a lot of empty classrooms in the game and some of them have magical items, so that is why I put the item counter on each floor. If you notice the counter should give you a different count on most floors. Usually I put a door on the more important rooms so if you hear a snoring sound chances are you need to check the room out behind it. By the way, if you're gonna order the full game, you'll probably find the later floors even more confusing at first. Ok guys, the achio charm worked. I found the old parchment in my inventory after casting achio.
