Fixed in revision 240341.

Code now checks to make sure that a parameter character array is initialized
only with constant-length elements.

I confirm the ICE with 5.2 and trunk (6.0). The first code in comment 0 is
accepted by 4.8 and 4.9 which looks wrong.
