However, this same commit also introduced a regression:
FAIL: gcc.c-torture/execute/20040709-1.c   -O2 -flto -fuse-linker-plugin
-fno-fat-lto-objects  execution test

with gcc configured
--target arm-none-linux-gnueabihf
--with-mode arm
--with-cpu cortex-a9
--with-fpu neon-fp16
