Since the revision, the following simple test-case is affected:

Oh, and at -O0 garbage collection recursion overflows the stack following
SSA_NAME_DEF_STMT. We can almost make that GTY((skip(""))) but for the fact
that we have GIMPLE_NOP for default-defs and those are not in the IL ...
(OTOH it presents the opportunity to have a single global GIMPLE_NOP as
GTY root since GIMPLE_NOP does not have a SSA def). Or simply have NULL
as SSA def of default defs.
Btw, we're entering the SSA def chain via REG_DECL, we might want to consider
NULLing all SSA_NAME_DEF_STMT after expanding to RTL as well.

The following loops are equivalent, but we only vectorise the second:
void f1 (int *x)
{
for (int i = 0; i < 100; ++i)
if ((i & 1) == 0)
x[i] += 1;
}
void f2 (int *x)
{
for (int i = 0; i < 100; i += 2)
x[i] += 1;
}
I guess this isn't vectorisation-specific. Perhaps this is something that
ivcanon could handle?

If a loop could be vectorised with -fallow-store-data-races, that approach
trumps IFN_MASK_LOAD/STORE even if -fallow-store-data-races is off.
This means that, in the following example, we can vectorise f2
with -O3 -march=armv8.2-a+sve, but we can't vectorise f1 without
-fallow-store-data-races:

void f1 (void)
{
for (int i = 0; i < 100; ++i)
if (x[i])
y[i] += 1;
}
void f2 (int *restrict x, int *restrict y)
{
for (int i = 0; i < 100; ++i)

Even if -fallow-store-data-races is passed, it would be better
to avoid load, select and store in the data-races version of:

y[i] = 1;

when a single IFN_MASK_STORE is enough.
