[gecko]Dented hard-shelled eggs
Can anyone tell me what it means when hard-shelled eggs are dented after being laid? It seems the majority of eggs produced by my spider gecko are dented. Not too long ago, one of these dried upafter a few weeks. It got to about 3 or 4 days of development but stopped. I don't know if this is because of the dent or because of some other factor. Today, both of her new eggs were dented. For a soft-shelled egg I'd just increase the humidity but I don't think dents in hard-shelled eggs pop out the same way. My only other thought was that the female didn't have enough water before she laid the eggs. Does anyone know what causes this? Mike
