[gem5-users] Dumping stats every N cycles

I want to dump the counter statistics every N cycles into a file.

I saw some old posts on using periodicStatDump.

I tried calling periodicStatDump(N) in se.py. This makes the simulation
halt and the stats is never updated.

I would like to know if I'm doing something wrong.
