What data is there to support the claim that the majority of WP editors are "young, white, child-free men." ? The 2011 editor survey https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Editor_Survey_2011 shows the majority are male, but not exactly young (although I guess it depends what you mean by "young") and I don't recall any question about children.
