Nothing will be broken. Leo added that recently to assist

I'll go ahead and remove it then, but it sounds like it might be a handy

+1, sorry, I didn't think of having href=#foo.

The true fix here is enabling the relativise functionality for velocity
but I'm guessing that's also disabled for a good reason so I'm a bit
hesitant to change it without more investigation, which I'm not really
looking forward to at the moment.

Hi all,

I have a question for you: what is the iCLA template we should collect
from the OFBiz's contributors? The one here:

http://www.apache.org/licenses/icla.txt

?

If so, maybe I'm wrong but... I don't see how this document will address
the change from a BSD to ASL license since it clearly states that the
CLA is for present and future Contributions submitted to the (Apache
Software) Foundation.

Am I missing something?

Actually, it is only needed from everyone who might own copyright
to some part of the work. So, it is those people who have contributed
functionality greater than a simple bug fix.

Agreed. I was trying to keep it simple, in order to
avoid problems with people trying to determine
the diff between the 2. :)

[VOTE] Release Apache Jackrabbit version 0.9-incubating

2006-02-10 Thread Roy T. Fielding

Jukka has carefully prepared an initial Apache Jackrabbit release
with incubating status written all over it, and the Jackrabbit
podling PPMC has approved its release. Now we just need at least
three +1 votes from the Incubator PMC.

+1 from me (verified and tested on OS X).

Hoping it was a browser issue, I tried it with two browsers on linux:

  firefox 1.0.7
  konqueror 3.3.1

And on Windows XP:

  internet explorer 6.0.2900

In hindsight, disabled links wasn't a helpful description of the problem.

Taking the Project Website Howto link at the bottom of
howtoparticipate.html as an example, clicking on it went here:

   http://incubator.apache.org/#project-website

instead of going to that anchor in the local howtoparticipate.html file.

[Issues] Kabuki Bootstrap

2006-02-10 Thread Andrew Clark
At the beginning of the week I opened INFRA-714[1] and 715[2]
to create the necessary mailing lists and source repository
for the new Kabuki incubator project. (Is this the right
thing to be doing?) Anyway, they are still unassigned so I
thought I'd ask if there's anyone with enough karma+knowledge
to resolve these issues so we can start moving forward.

The mailing lists are much more important so that we can
start project discussions. The source repository, while also
important, can be delayed because it will take me a little
time to massage the current code base (e.g. changing package
names, license blocks, etc) to put it into Subversion.
