Re: Does Heron really need a users@ mailing list?
Heron is an existing open source project with an active users list hosted on google groups. Once we move the code to apache we planned to move user discussions to apache lists. [ANNOUNCE] Apache Griffin-0.1.5-incubating released
hi all, The Apache Griffin (incubating) team is pleased to announce the release of Griffin 0.1.5. Apache Griffin is data quality solution for modern data system, it defines a standard process to define, measure data quality for well-known dimensions. The release is available at: https://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/incubator/griffin Thanks, The Apache Griffin (incubating) team = *DISCLAIMER* Apache Griffin is an effort undergoing incubation at the Apache Software Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Apache Incubator. Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.
Does Heron really need a users@ mailing list?
Podlings normally don't need a users@ list as the focus should be on building developer community. Is it really needed for Heron? - To unsubscribe, e-mail: general-unsubscr...@incubator.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: general-h...@incubator.apache.org
[REMINDER] Policies around Publicity & Press
All Podlings, In recent days I've been contacted about several publicity issues that have gone a bit off kilter. I wanted to remind podlings two very import policies. 1. Podlings MUST coordinate with the Public Relations Committee with all publicity activities. 2. The Press Team MUST review any press releases or similar communication referencing a podling before it is published. Relevant Links: https://incubator.apache.org/guides/branding.html#publicity_activities https://incubator.apache.org/guides/branding.html#publicity_throughout_the_incubation_process Please reach out with any concerns. Regards, John D. Ament VP, Apache Incubator
