[ANNOUNCE] Apache Linkis (Incubating) 1.3.0 available

2022-10-25 Thread legendtkl
Apache Linkis (Incubating) Team is glad to announce the new release of
Apache Linkis (Incubating) 1.3.0.

Apache Linkis (Incubating) builds a computation middleware layer to
decouple the upper applications and the underlying data engines,
provides standardized interfaces (REST, JDBC, WebSocket etc.) to
easily connect to various underlying engines (Spark, Presto, Flink,
etc.), while enabling cross engine context sharing, unified job & engine
governance and orchestration.

+1 (binding) from me,

I have checked the following items:
- Incubating in name
- LICENSE and NOTICE are fine
- DISCLAIMER-WIP exists
- All links are valid
- No unexpected binary files
- All ASF files have ASF headers
- Can compile from source
  `mvn clean install`

Best regards

2022-10-25 Thread larry mccay
Hi Renat -

More active contributors/committers would be great!
Let's get the names before I craft the NOTICE to add new members email
later today.

If that isn't realistic then we can always add more after the fact as well.
That's what is great about re/building the community in the incubator!

thanks!

Thanks,

P.S. Of course, all the new files we start creating should have a

2022-10-25 Thread Chen Xia
Linkis has already received feedback from community users for the
compilation compatibility problem of the JDK11
and has been fixed in the planned 1.3.1 version, and adjusted to support
the compilation of the JDK11 [1].

What is the version of JDK and maven that you failed to compile, we will
confirm whether it has been repaired in pr[1]

Can you tell us the specific version of JDK and maven you tried to compile
failed? We confirm whether the repair is completed in pr[1]
