I was able to add Ignite recently, but I think it's because, as Alan pointed
out later, I am a chair (VP for another project.

I should have responded back - it was because I kept copying an http
url instead of an https url.

Anyone in the incubator pmc should be able to do svn * against the
incubator repos.

I suspect that only Roman and other VPs can do this.

Hey John, you need to use https. You are in the correct groups so should be
able to, if you have any issues let me know

svn mkdir https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/tamaya

Yes, the mkdir worked. However still adding the base site fails:

 Johns-MBP:src johnament$ svn co
 http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/tamaya/ tamaya-site

One day I'll remember to use https... hold on.

 Checked out revision 1641665.
