2022-06-21 Thread Salz, Rich
It seems that to download the slides, as opposed to just view them, you have to
set up a "Scribd" account which costs money if you forget to cancel within the
first 30 days. I doubt that was your intent :)

The slides look great BTW, exactly what I can use as my starting point
internally.

Where did these files come from and how are they licensed?

Hi all,

Pleased to submit my vote... Hopefully 4th time's the charm!!

Summary:
+1 to release (binding)

Per Alan's request for size information [1]:

* NuttX-10.3.0-RC4, b-g474e-dpow1:nsh configuration:

$ arm-none-eabi-size nuttx
   textdata bss dec hex filename
 117843 6362256  120735   1d79f nuttx

* This is a slight improvement from NuttX-10.3.0-RC0, same config:

$ arm-none-eabi-size nuttx
   textdata bss dec hex filename
 117851 6362256  120743   1d7a7 nuttx

* For comparison, same configuration on NuttX-10.2.0:

$ arm-none-eabi-size nuttx
   textdata bss dec hex filename
 115331 6242500  118455   1ceb7 nuttx

This release has gotten bigger compared to last 2 releases (from
10.2.0 to 10.3.0-RC4, text increases 2512, data increases 12, bss decreases
244). As pointed out by Xiang Xiao in [2], the increase is
(probably) mainly attributed to str_escape() from apps PR-861,
cmd_truncate() from apps PR-1034, and realpath() and getcwd() from nuttx
PR-5465. If anyone wants to get involved in NuttX development, these might be
interesting areas for improvement. :-)

Development system: Linux
(Debian 4.19.0-20-rt-amd64 x86_64)

Verified:
* Signatures
* SHA-512 sums
* Incubating in artifact names
* LICENSE, NOTICE, DISCLAIMER, and README.md present in both tarballs
* DISCLAIMER-WIP has been renamed to DISCLAIMER as licenses have been
  migrated to Apache 2.0 or documented in LICENSE; hopefully we will
  graduate soon and be able to remove DISCLAIMER altogether :-)
* Build, FLASH program, and boot b-g474e-dpow1:nsh to the NSH prompt
  successfully
* Release notes have been staged

Re: [VOTE] Graduate Apache ShenYu(Incubating) as a TLP

2022-06-21 Thread XiaoYu
Hi,

Thanks to everyone for the vote.

I made a mistake when describing the project in the resolution template.
I only described the functionality of the project and not the scope of
the project.
It doesn't fit the standard template.

The previous project description as follows:
related to Apache ShenYu is a dynamic full lifecycle JAVA API gateway with easy
scalability and hot-pluggable features.

Thanks to Sebb for pointing out the problem with the description of
the project scope, and our mentors guidance.
I have modified the project description as follows, so that it meets
the standard resolution template.

related to Apache ShenYu is a Java native API Gateway for service
proxy, protocol conversion and API governance.

I am sorry, due to the changes in the resolution file, I will cancel this vote
and I will initiate a new vote thread.

Best wishes!
Xiao Yu

[CANCEL][VOTE] Graduate Apache ShenYu(Incubating) as a TLP

2022-06-21 Thread XiaoYu
Dear Apache Incubator Community,

In the previous vote[1] thread.

I am sorry, due to the changes in the resolution file,

I initiate cancel the vote[1] thread, and then I will initiate a new
vote thread.

Best wishes!
Xiao Yu

2022-06-21 Thread Calvin Kirs
Hi,

   Just as a reminder, in the community vote only two mentor votes
look good. Most of the others are pointless +1, the community should
guide everyone to follow the steps of [1] to check, this is a very
important thing and something podlings need to learn during
incubation.

Another is the KEYS file should be placed in the [2] directory.

Re: [VOTE] Release Apache DevLake (Incubating) v0.11.0-rc1

2022-06-21 Thread Willem Jiang
+1 (binding)

I checked:
- Download links are valid.
- Checksums and signatures are OK for me.
- LICENSE/NOTICE/DISCLAIMER files exist
- No unexpected binary files
- ASF License add in the source files

There are some small issue
We don't need add DISCLAIMER information into the Dockerfile in the
root directory.
The copyright year in NOTICE file need to change to "Copyright 2022
The Apache Software Foundation"
We need add the ASF License header on the k8s-deploy.yaml file
