ChangeLog entires are mandatory without any exceptions for
stabilizations. Don't touch packages I co-maintain without a ChangeLog
entry if it's not a whitespace change.

etc for any other packages I'll skip replies on this time. Please get
the idea.

pushing gcc-4.3.2-r1 in a bit.

yeah ... there are no bugfixes in 1.3.2 (which is in git), just speed

Thanks for looking after this important package. 1.3.2 isn't in CVS, did
you mean 1.3.1?

Ease of getting things done. Going through Gentoo requires finding a
Gentoo maintainer, endless bikeshed arguments about how to implement
things like the new alternatives framework and then months of waiting
for approval.

I pulled the latest git sources about a week ago and seemed like I hit a
regression in the autoconf.. (I'm sure this isn't the case and probably
a regression in my perl) Sorry I only have fuzzy details right now, but
tested it about a week ago. If anyone is interested to take a look at
it for Solaris I'm more than happy to try to provide ssh access to a dev
machine with everything in place and ready to go. My results prior to
the last ones were quite optimistic.. (feel free to pm me off list)

btw.. Thanks Mike for the great work on this..

how exactly do you propose we sanely build stages for such arches then ?

that doesnt make sense. there is no separate "bison-runtime" nor "flex-
runtime". either a package uses bison or it does not, there is no in between.
same goes for flex.
