I am reasonable certain that I have an archive with the others, but it's a media accessibility problem: they are stuck on either an LTO1 or LTO3 tape, and while I have an LTO drive that might work, I don't have a suitable external SAS controller on hand. It should probably be a project for me to media-shift those old backups onto cloud storage. -- Robin Hugh Johnson Gentoo Linux: Dev, Infra Lead, Foundation Treasurer E-Mail : robb...@gentoo.org GnuPG FP : 11ACBA4F 4778E3F6 E4EDF38E B27B944E 34884E85 GnuPG FP : 7D0B3CEB E9B85B1F 825BCECF EE05E6F6 A48F6136 signature.asc Description: PGP signature

I regret that I did not understand GNU/Linux back in 2003 to help you. This is indeed a cool project to celebrate your 18th anniversary of Gentoo ;) Please share some videos after you finish that. Benda Benda, It works now, its just not quite authentic. Follow the instructions in the wiki page I linked, or if you can't wait, there is a link to a root filesystem image for Virtualbox. I have hosted all the source files I have found, so go ahead and do a 2003 stage1 install. KDE is 3.1.1 not 3.1.1a pam_login is 3.11, not 3.10. net-tools-1.60-gentoo-extra.tar.bz2 I had to remake, based on the comments in the ebuild. The file size and md5sum don't match but I used 2021 tar to put the bits together. XFree is there, just not the version portage wanted to install. -- Regards, Roy Bamford (Neddyseagoon) a member of elections gentoo-ops forum-mods arm64

[gentoo-dev] Gentoo 18th Anniversary Edition - Help Needed
Team, Its my 18th anniversary of installing Gentoo. A number of coincidences gave rise to my original liveCD turning up when I was searching for bits to get an old system to boot just one more time to get some forgotten data off its hard drives.
