It actually was (surprisingly) as straight-forward as it sounds. I was successful at getting a network Brother printer to scan, just by following the Gentoo Printing Wiki. Now, getting it to print, well, that's a whole other ball of wax that I was not successful at and never pursued further! [gentoo-user] Anyone have experience with Brother's Scan Key Tool?
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience in installing the Brother Scan Key Tool on Gentoo, and could give me a heads up on any oddities I may encounter while setting it up? I haven't had much luck in finding information on this topic on-line. I'm hoping that's just because it's a straight forward as it seems like it should be.
