Yeah, I'd vote for amarok too. I use it to play files on a server... 
operations are quite slow with big (13k or more) mp3 libraries, but it does 
work well after it builds a collection and playlists

On the other end of the spectrum, there's gnump3d. It's not database based and 
is accessed via your web browser. For my home clients, it's perfect.

Hi,

I would like to add all my MP3 info like genre - artists - song and so on, of 
all the MP3 files that on my server into a mysql database.
Is there a program that exists, or must i create my own scripts.
