[gentoo-user] How to install music player without graphic ?

I added USE=-KDE to /etc/make.conf ,
but when I use emerge like below :
# sudo emerge mplayer
OR
#sudo emerge amorok
I found that the emerge always download
something which contact with X11/lib .
I don't know why the USE I set have no effect.
I only want to listem music under console , no
more fuither , so how to figure this out ?

Try installing  mpg123

Try installing  mpg123
