[gentoo-user] MySQL DATADIR - ???

I saw this message scroll by when doing an update to MYSQL this evening.

* MySQL DATADIR is /var/lib/mysql
* Previous datadir found, it's YOUR job to change
* ownership and take care of it

What is my job? Really? What previous datadir did it find?

I believe that's a generic message if /var/lib/mysql exists when the 
ebuild runs.
