I had a problem like this yesterday on my AMD64 machine. Wasn't able to do emerge -DuN @system without lots of blockage problems but was able to do emerge -DuN @world with none... - Mark

To decide what to mask and what to leave, I need to discover what these packages actually do and what the effect will be if I unmask stuff. I *could* experiment, but will probably overlook many important things.
