thanks mike using debugreiserfs -J /dev/hda3 answers my earlier question of "Now for the silly question of the day, how do I know what version of reiserfs I have "installed"?" =>. 3.6 which means from reiserfs FAQ that :- " 2^60 - bytes => 1 Ei, but page cache limits this to 8 Ti on architectures with 32 bit int " ie. biG or at least I think so, I am afraid that this is somewhat out of my league.
