I have just installed skypeforlinux-8.30.0.50. After starting from command line, it successfully does nothing. I even do not get "permission denied" message.
# whereis skypeforlinux skypeforlinux: /usr/bin/skypeforlinux # ls -al /usr/bin/skypeforlinux lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 Oct 4 /usr/bin/skypeforlinux -> /../../opt/bin/skypeforlinux /opt/bin/skypeforlinux is a shell script calling /opt/skypeforlinux/skypeforlinux $ /opt/skypeforlinux/skypeforlinux Server response: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" Segmentation fault What I am doing wrong? Except for trying to install skypeforlinux, of course. :)
