Post the output of your commands, the errormessages you encountered, the kernel-sources and version you are using, etc. Whithout any information, nobody will be able to help you. Hi Kitti, If there's a driver for your kernel the chances are you'll be able to build it. If this doesn't work look for open source alternatives. I only had 2.4 drivers on vendor's CD.
