The slower tests shouldn’t be affected by the compiler right? 

 

So that means the *runtime* is noticeably slower. That isn’t good news. May 
need a plan follow-on activities for more performance-oriented stuff later. 
Maybe towards the end of the sprint we can work out a plan for tooling that 
could help on that.

No idea, did not check, but it's something that we want to investigate, the 
time increase is just insane and going to badly affect our

productivity.

 

Compiler seems slower, jdk 8 builds geotools in 2:20 without tests on jdk8, but 
takes 3:35 in the same conditions on jdk 11... pff

However that means there is another ~1:30 lost running tests... it just seems 
slower overall

for development (just not production).
