Re: [Geoserver-users] Authkey module and REST service

2017-11-01 Thread steve.omondi
Hi Jofrrey,

I found thi thread and it's interesting to me.

I need the strategy you are referring to here "*I decided to send all the
GET and POST request to mimic the clicks on the web interface. *" to help me
Synchronize the user properties for Authkey generation as you mentioned.

Currently, I had to write a REST Service with Java to query the user_props
table in database (I use JDBC Role Service so the User properties are stored
in the database). This helps me get the user Authkey afetr Synchronization.

However, I haven't cracked the part to Synchronize the User Property using
REST or asyou do it by mimicking the click of the web interface.

How did you do it? Can I get some sample code for this please?

[Geoserver-users] GWC tiles Seeding fails with error: Problem communicating with GeoServer ServiceException Could not find layer

2017-09-29 Thread steve.omondi
Hi guys,

I have a problem with Integrated GeowebCache.
Seeding Layers fails and here is the stack trace.

I have tried Vector and Raster layers a like. If it's important I have
changed the GEOWEBCACHE_CACHE_DIR=/serverDir/ externalized.

I have tried to have the raster style from the defaul Global workspace to
same workspace as Layer and nothing works.

Opening the Layer Preview through the GWC and WMS endpoint and zooming
around actually creates the tiles.
Seeding fails.
