Re: [Geoserver-users] What´s Hardware Specification for GEOSERVER 2.13.2
There are more considerations than just hardware. You really need to optimise your install (i.e. test and modify). See https://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/production/index.html for more information. Re: [Geoserver-users] What´s Hardware Specification for GEOSERVER 2.13.2
Hi Brian, Thanks a lot by the answer... I run CentOS 7 on a Virtual Machine with 4GB RAM, 2 cores (intel) and 1TB HD. Geoserver + Tomcat + WebMap app Openlayers (Front End) + GeoNetwork + PostgreSQL/PostGis on this VM. Users between 500 ou 700/day. Publishing Vectors Layers on PostgreSQL/PostGis, Raster GeoTIFF files with 1.2GB to 3GB (300 files published). The next step is treat High Resolutions Satellite Imagery to render all Brazilian territory on the map. Regards. Agustín Flores Franco Especialista em Geoprocessamento CTCEA / ICA Tel. I like to use a Raspberry Pi 3B, with a .5Tb ssd drive. Of course, your needs might be different to mine.
