We´ve Oracle NG perfectly running in 2.14.0.
Just make sure you have the correct jdbc drive installed.
Checkout your jdbc driver depending on your Oracle version from
https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/application-development/jdbc/downloads/index.html
and install it in the lib-directory of GS.

I just installed 2.14.0 with Oracle extension and I can see that there's no
more support for Oracle NG (non JNDI and Non-OCI).
Can you confirm this and why this is not offered anymore ?
