GGI snapshot problem on
Hello, list, I recently downloaded and compiled the latest ggi snapshot (ggi-devel-2615.tar.bz2) from the website, but experienced some problems when trying to run the demos in /lib/libggidemos. I'll let you analyze what's going on: [elm@pc9 libggidemos]$ ./dots X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied) Major opcode of failed request: 2 (X_ChangeWindowAttributes) Serial number of failed request: 37 Current serial number in output stream: 39 All demos produce the same output. My current setup: RedHat 6.2 distro on a PentiumII-333 XFree86-3.3.6-20 (from RPM) 3dfx Voodoo 3 egcs-2.91.66 You need any more information? I'd be thankful for any help! best, Nick -- -- Niklas Elmqvist [EMAIL PROTECTED] 3Dwm Project Coordinator and Programmer.

That's not double buffering, that's just, well, copying. Doublebuffering is when you have one buffer being drawn to, and another being displayed, and then swap between them when drawing is finished. Re: [patch] libggidemos compiler fixes
RFD: should we start taking up a collection to clone Marcus and Andy? *hehe* - At least for me, I don't think the world could stand multiple instances of me ... - well maybe if you distribute them well around the world, but not in one place. Moreover the default method is much more fun ;-). CU, ANdy -- = Andreas Beck| Email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] =
GGI in the news.
I was just browsing through the newest issue of Linux Magazine and saw little write ups for two of my favorite web sites. GGI was of course one of them and there were only five graphics web sites although they fail to capture the essence of ggi it is still exposure! - Bryan Patrick Coleman UNCG [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.uncg.edu/~bpcolema Octagram Linux [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://octagram.sourceforge.net Questcon [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.questcon.com
