Yes, I use Scribus all the time for magazines and brochures. I'd like to
start with the "design guidelines" I think is what we came to on #GIMP
tonight. I was able to collect some useful links from people, and get
enough information to start. I'll present information both there and here
and try and keep the two as up to date as I can. Apparently #gimp is where
most of the magic happens. Lots of fun people too. :)

More as I get more underway.

Brochures could be made with scribus as this is what it is made todo. also
Scribus is what the people over at GIMPmagazine  uses
to make their great magazines.

I think that the best thing to do would be make your own document, present
it and then we can discuss individual topics.  This way we can sign off and
approve sections of the document.

I have no idea how to use an IRC meeting bot, but if someone wants to set
up some meetings, I'll be happy to make myself available to chat irc-style.

Okay, so I posted a summary of the gimp brand stuff to the gimp irc channel
#GIMP. Am I to assume someone will eventually see it? I mean, is it logged
or something? It pretty much got ignored and burried under the next
question... Unless we agree on a time to meet, I'm not sure what the point
of asking people in the chat room is... At this point no one has expressed
any interest.
