Not sure about GEGL previews, bu there is a new transform tool spec: http://gui.gimp.org/index.php/Transformation_tool_specification To combine scale, shear and rotate into one tool. I apologise for any ignorance, but it the new Gimp release going to include better font management? For example, if I type something and rotate it, Gimp automatically rasterises it. It would be great if this didn't happen.
