Re: [Gimp-user] Mandrake install

2004-06-30 Thread Gaston Garcia
I Installed it from rpm on Mandrake 10, but I'm using GNOME, not kde.
It worked fine in gnome.

But In KDE you can edit the menu items... I think it's called menudrake.

Congrats on the donation. It's great that the project recieves help!
And it's also very important that the people developing The Gimp have
a smile on their faces.

[Gimp-user] the gimp being used regularly

2004-07-01 Thread Gaston Garcia
I think it's important for people to know about projects where the
gimp is being used constantly for professional work. It might
encourage more and more people to use the gimp and to see it's
capabilities. Is there a list like this somewhere?

If not, maybe some of you could point out where work done with the
gimp is online.

cheers.

[Gimp-user] zoom shortcutkey

2004-07-06 Thread Gaston Garcia
Hi, can anyone tell me the how I can set a shortcut key to the Zoom
tool. I know that by hitting shift + I will zoom. But I still want to
be able to hit "Z" for example and get the tool by itself.

I tried changing the shortcut key, but I think the explanation the
Gimp gave me on how to do it is either not that clear. Or, (which is
most probable) I just wasn't bright enough to get it.

Thanks in advance.

[Gimp-user] changing shortcut keys

2004-07-13 Thread Gaston Garcia
hi, I'm having problems changing the shortcut keys in The Gimp 2. What
is the order of steps in order to change a shortcut. For example make
Zoom tool have "z" as key.

thanks
