Re: [Gimp-user] Lighting Presets
GIMP should remember the last folder you saved the preset to, and list it when you next save or open. If it doesn’t you could add a quick link in the “Places” window of you file chooser. As you screen shot, left hand window, open a file chooser window, explore to the location and drag it to the bottom left hand window under “Metals” and that folder will always be there each time you open or save a preset. Re: [Gimp-user] Macbook on iOS Mojave 10.14.5
You may want to give more detail, where you downloaded the file from, which version of GIMP you are trying to install, any error messages that are produced. As all these will help anyone to help you. > On 26 Jul 2019, at 00:11, Keith Seiji Kawamura via gimp-user-list > wrote: > > Successful download + install. > Unsuccessful run. > Please advise > > *Keith Seiji Kawamura* > ___ > gimp-user-list mailing list > List address:gimp-user-list@gnome.org > List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list > List archives: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list ___ gimp-user-list mailing list List address:gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list List archives: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list

Re: [Gimp-user] Totally lost on mac installation
See https://www.partha.com/ Patha has packaged an OSX version, which works out of the box, has some bugs but works. Re: [Gimp-user] 2.10 for XP?
If you have really old kit you could also run https://lubuntu.me a flavor of Ubuntu designed for low spec kit. If you need to still run windows programs you could also use VirtualBox ( https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads) and run XP in that environment. I run Ubuntu & Lubuntu they are great on old and new kit. Re: [Gimp-user] GIMP 2.10 for Mac
For a 2.10 working version on OSX https://www.partha.com/ Works great, you just need to watch which version of OSX you are using and Multi Threading as you may need to change that setting in Prefs . > On 9 May 2018, at 19:17, Patrick Shanahanwrote: > > * Maurizio Loreti [05-09-18 11:59]: >> The GIMP community does not seem to care about OS X.
