[Gimp-user] Foreground selection tool "Draw Unknown" meaning
What does the "draw unknown" option actually do? I just edited out A head of a pop star. I don't know how "draw unknown" helps. So far I've assumed the unknown area is where the hair is so thin, it's hard to seperate it from the background. Amd I doing it right? Also, what does "Levels" and "Active Levels" do? I've played with it, but I don't know how it's defined, therefore I cannot predict what it will do for me. [Gimp-user] Foreground selection tool not selecting
Indeed, I found out. Problem was, if I select [ENTER] it woud open the help file because somehow the focus jumps to that small selection-feedback window. So after having closed the selection, I must click on the actual selection first, then press [ENTER]. I'm not sure if this procedure is that great. A bit bloated. But thanks for your help. [Gimp-user] Foreground selection tool not selecting
Version: 2.10 System: Win 7 When I use the foreground selection tool, it seems to close (the circle turns yellow when hovering over it) but the foreground nor the background is selected blue (or anything) and the brush keeps having the selection shape, instead of the brushing tool. I don't know what's up with that. I'm new user, following tutorials on YT. Cheres!
