Not running Catalina yet, but I think I read somewhere that there is a work 
around for this. Check the Apple website support section, also ask on the Apple 
user’s forum.

[Gimp-user] GIMP 2.10.22 on iMac

I downloaded, and ran, Gimp 2.10.22 onto my iMAC wich has Catalina 10.15.7 
installed.

This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.


Are there steps I need to take update Gimp or the Mac OS?
