If you develop a raw file with an editor, output to JPG, load that JPG into gimp, then export from gimp the exported file has exif data. I did not know this bug you are pointing to, but was so interested in it that I also answered you on the Flicker Gimp Users group. I only wanted to fix the command line for people who would try to copy-paste it. I don't use the Gogle translation for posting in English, but I confirm it adds spaces. As for the lowercase -make, I unconsciously typed it instead of -Make, because I never use uppercase when lowercase is working. -- Francois (via www.gimpusers.com/forums) ___ gimp-user-list mailing list List address:gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list List archives: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list

This is a bug in GIMP 2.10.6. Please look at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues/2253. For a temporary workaround, please change the item "Make" of Exif data from "PENTAX Corporation" to "Pentax Corporation". Since installing 2.10.0 (and also 2.10.6) when I export a Pentax file (as a jpeg) the exif data is lost. Canon, Nikon & Sony files work fine. I'm using Windows 10 and I have tried this on 2 different PCs. Gimp 2.8 and previous versions had no issues with Pentax files.
