Yes I did. That too was an oversight. Thanks for pointing both out. haddock source link are wrong for haskell98 modules
Hi, is this a known issue? All source links in haskell98 modules are dead I.e. in http://www.haskell.org/ghc/docs/latest/html/libraries/haskell98-1.0.1.1/Array.html The link under the first Source (at the right margin) points to http://www.haskell.org/ghc/docs/latest/html/libraries/haskell98-1.0.1.1/src/GHC-Arr.html#Array which does not exist. Can this be fixed easily? Cheers Christian ___ Glasgow-haskell-users mailing list Glasgow-haskell-users@haskell.org http://www.haskell.org/mailman/listinfo/glasgow-haskell-users
Re: haddock source link are wrong for haskell98 modules
The link to Data.Time http://www.haskell.org/ghc/docs/latest/html/libraries/old-time-1.0.0.3/Data-Time.html in System.Time http://www.haskell.org/ghc/docs/latest/html/libraries/old-time-1.0.0.3/System-Time.html is also dead. There seems to be a problem with inter-package links. C. Christian Maeder schrieb: Hi, is this a known issue? Re: Poll: Error message spans
Would you find the extra information useful, or just noise? i.e. should we show error spans by default? I certainly wouldn't find it distracting, and I think it could be quite useful in many cases. I vote for turning it on by default. I agree. +1. It is a feature I have always found useful in other tools. (Although ghc does usually quote the entire literal source expression denoted by the span, so perhaps the info is slightly redundant.)
