> So, anything knew ?

I am closing this bug as the requirement for libcurl is handled through
glusterfs.spec file and openssl-devel dependent code was made to work with old
and new versions.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the info. Let me debug this issue on a centos image. Will update
here once I get some data.

openssl-devel and openssl come from the same source package. I can't change one
without the other. So the problem hasn't changed. This code should work with
whatever is shipped with Centos 7 at the very least.

I did not realize that I have mentioned "openssl" instead of "openssl-devel".
My apologies. I guess in both fedora and centos should have openssl-devel
1.1.0.

Apologies again for the inconvenience.

Thanks & Regards,

This is a problem. You cannot have a version of openssl that is not installed
by default. This will lead to complications down the line. I see that Centos
has openssl 1:1.0.2k-8.el7. So what is causing the current failure?

We can't have a backport of openssl on EL7. Nigel, any opinion on this ?

Pushed, openssl is already here.

What should be done on FreeBSD, does it work with libressl ?
