It would be great if translations could be updated before the launch. Thanks, Piotr Hi, I am looking at the french version. Arabic team info updates
The http://progress.gnome.org/teams/ page should be updated. Arabic is now coordinated by Djihed Afifi ( http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gtp/teams.html) under the same umbrella project http://www.arabeyes.org. Also, Bugzilla Arabic bugs should be assigned to Djihed Afifi (djihed-gmail-dot-com) and not to Youssef Chahibi (chahibi-gmail-dot-com). ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
Re: cvs assistance needed (probably)
wadim dziedzic napisał(a): So I would like to know possibly exact deadline date for translation cvs commit and if there is somebody who would help us with the commit in case we don't contact Artur before the deadline. (I know that this idea is rather unusual, but maybe as an exception, someone of You will help us ;-)) Hi, I work with Wadim and Artur on Polish l10n of GNOME. We have updated more than 4,000 messages for GNOME targeting the 2.16.2 release. We would love having them in this release - but it will be only possible, if we commit them into the CVS repository. Can anyone help us please? We would appreciate either creating a CVS account for Wadim Dziedzic (although I am aware, that this would have to be done as an exception from the rules, which makes it hard for me to ask for it) or having someone check in the files for us. I've submitted a request in the Bugzilla: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376700 The files are located here: http://others.aviary.pl/gnome/gnome-2.16.2-l10n-pl.tar.gz Thank you for your help! Is the option something you want to keep in later releases (GNOME 2.18, eg)? The other part sounds fine to me (I didn't look at the patch), but we need an approval from a i18n leader :-) Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

Hello, I have committed all the files in libs directory. But because I am very short on time I would suggest that someone else commits the rest. I would also like to suggest, that in these circumstances a cvs account should be given to Wadim Dziedzic. They obviously have a lot of files to be committed and if their coordinator approves it, I see no problem at all.
