 Hi all,

I have added a new project to the svn repos: moserial.

moserial is a clean, friendly gtk-based serial terminal for the gnome
desktop. It is written in vala for extra goodness. It includes i18n and
 docs.

Once the excitement of the gnome 2.26.0 release has passed, I would
appreciate the addition of any translations to trunk (the only branch,
 currently).

Stats have been initiated:

I would propose Luca himself as the new coordinator.

Luca, would that be okay with you?

Yes, I'm OK with this and I'd be really glad to hold the coordinator
position. Thanks to sponsoring and trusting me :)

PS just a note: I'm out-of-home by now, I'll be back online starting from

 Hi,

I could not open the evolution Sinhala transaltion (si.po) file of
 gnome-2.24 branch.
I use lokalize as the translation tool.

i am not getting any error for 'msgfmt -c si.po'

Appraciate if some one look in to the file and tell me the issue.

This file seems valid. It may be a bug of lokalize...
You can try to use another editor, or simply a text editor.

 Hi Dan,

Looking to SVN repos of network-manager-* products, it seems they have
 branched for the 0.7 series.
Could you please tell us if translators should now commit their work in
 these branches instead of HEAD?

The current translation branch should still be 'trunk', because we
haven't broken API/ABI yet and thus every patch applied to trunk is
getting merged back to 0.7 (including translations). I'll certainly
update the translation branches when we do have relevant differences in
the future.

Thanks!
Dan

Yes, the brazilian portuguese translation should be reviewed as well. I
don't know if it if of good quality and there is an important user base
in Brazil as far as I can see from the web referers.

Hi Jen,

You should be able to get hold of Bastien quite easily. I've CCd him on
this e-mail; if he doesn't respond I'll kick him for you.

I presume you've read http://live.gnome.org/BritishEnglish already? I
see you're already listed as a translator on l10n.gnome.org. If you have
any questions I'll be happy to answer them.

Regards,
Philip
