Just a hint for translators who would like to begin translating release-notes and for whom a translation is available in the gnome-2-24 branch. Go to the GNOME Infrastructure doc page for your language, from http://l10n.gnome.org/releases/gnome-infrastructure/ and click on the GNOME Release Notes module. Then upload the gnome-2-24 .po file (e.g. with Write a comment action). A merged file will be automatically at your disposal (.merged.po). In the beginning this site just provided statistics statistics such as the percentage of strings which have been translated. During the development of GNOME 2.26, Damned Lies was enhanced to include
the workflow tool known by some as Vertimus. The addition allows a
translator to create their own account on Damned Lies and upload their
translation work. After that the site tracks the review status and finally
if it has been integrated within GNOME ('committed').
if Vertimus is known by others as someting else. I thougth that was
its name, which makes the formulation above a bit wierd in my opinion.
