To speed up the process, you can also replace all occurrences of {0}
and {1} by %1% and %2% (naming of arguments) and [Tt]omboy by
[Gg]note.
I recommend you to keep the obsolete strings in the PO file because
the Tomboy plugins are not migrated to gnote yet (it's anticipated).

I've just created the bug #579520 because gnote doesn't use
translation files for now.

intltool move
Hey Everyone, As some of you may have seen in my blog post[1], Danilo and I have decided to move intltool over to Launchpad[2], as the project is not specific to GNOME, and Launchpad gives us some features which none of the other code hosting sites have. Particularly, there have been a fair number of complaints about Launchpad Translations vs. upstream, and how it is somewhat difficult to keep the two in line. One feature I have been personally wanting to do for quite some time now, is to integrate Launchpad Translations support into intltool, to make dealing with the differences easier, or to make the problems go away entirely, for some. The intltool product on bugzilla.gnome.org is now closed for new reports, and the SVN module was moved over to svn-archive before the gnome.org transition to git. The latest intltool code is already in a bzr branch on Launchpad (lp:intltool) and, all new bugs should be reported at http://bugs.launchpad.net/intltool/ from now on. There are still a few open bugs in bugzilla, which Danilo or myself will deal with as appropriate, by fixing, moving, or closing as wontfix. If there were any status scripts, or tools, which were pulling intltool from SVN, please update those to pull from the bzr branch now instead. I hope the transition has been smooth (nobody's made loud noisy complaints yet), and we can expand our user base outside of GNOME through the efforts Danilo and myself are making with intltool. If there are any problems, questions, or complaints, feel free to bug either one of us on IRC, or via e-mail. Weird status for several modules and releases
Hi, since the migration to git I noticed several modules which status is weird, for example there are two bug-buddy user-guides, both with 0 strings, like gok user manual, [1] and I also noticed few new untranslated and fuzzy strings for old releases (both at UI and manuals). I tried to update those but it says everything is up to date, so I guess is a problem with DL/intltool. Also, at least one member of the Spanish team reported that the migration of gnome-commander left many strings untranslated and fuzzy, something I fixed uploading the last po he uploaded to DL, but this issue has/will probably happen with other modules and teams. ChangeLogs cause usability issues. po/ChangeLog is a shared file between translators, so you get situations that another translator just added to this file before you had the change to commit. This comes up as an error, and you have to spent a bit more time to fix. In addition, in terms of usability, you try to limit the number of steps to the those that are really essential. In the case of ChangeLogs, you merely duplicate the commit message. As it was mentioned earlier, ChangeLogs are now out since the move to Git, so the benefit of this discussion is to reiterate this message. If a project tries to require ChangeLog entries (and manage to get it through), will probably end up with incomplete ChangeLogs.
