I probably miss some knowledge of processes, but does the Internet
Assigned Numbers Authority define anything language scripts related?

An URL to an official IANA page providing this variant code is highly
welcome and might also help you convincing the other projects that you
have contacted for the same request, such as Ubuntu and LibreOffice.

Any +1/-1 from the l10n team?

String additions to 'gnome-panel.master'

2011-04-01 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
http://l10n.gnome.org.

There have been following string additions to module 'gnome-panel.master':

+ Available
+ Busy
+ Menu to change your settings and your online status
+ My Account
+ Switch User
+ User Menu

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

2/2, but promise that this is the last break :).

Thanks. Yeah, this is the last break for gnome-panel. Hopefull ;-) (Nah,
kidding, there's no more gnome-panel string freeze break planned for
3.0).

As mentioned in the previous thread, I've merged the gnome-shell
translations for those four strings.

+ Menu to change your settings and your online status
 + Switch User

These are the two completely new strings.

Again, many thanks to the l10n team for bearing with me on this. I'll
make sure to release gnome-panel at the last minute for GNOME 3.0 so
that you can get as much time as possible to push translations for those
strings.

Spanish language missing in GNOME3-web

2011-04-01 Thread Daniel Mustieles García
Hi all,

I've seen there is a language selector in gnome3 webpages's footer (great!),
but Spanish option is missing :'(

In the .po file, the string «Spanish» is also missing...

Could you please add it?

Many thanks :)

That is the Russian language in its traditional, pristine orthography as used
until orthography reform of 1918. With Internet coverage and corresponding
freedom of expression rising, more and more people use it in their
communication. Free software should support it.

Translation team is required as the conversion to pristine orthography from
modern isn't trivial and cannot be accomplished by automatic means only.
